Centre for Integrative Psychosynthesis.
This aspect of integrative therapy is often referred to as the personal integration of therapists - they are committing themselves wholly to their client and their exploration of self.
Psychosynthesis assumes that in every human being is a vast potential for personal growth – a natural tendency to synthesise all aspects of their being to become the fullest realisation of themselves.
It practices with the assumption that every person only uses the smallest part of their potential and that we are all capable of leading fulfilling lives.
She studied counselling & psychotherapy at CCPE - Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education and completed her post-diploma psychotherapy training at Re-Vision - Centre for Integrative Psychosynthesis.

I work with individuals, face to face on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. Of course you are proactive in this process. I sometimes use drawing, imagery and suggest journal writing throughout your process. Sometimes when we see something in front of us, it can make more sense than just talking, although talking is an important part of counselling as well as the need for honesty.
I am what is known as an “integrative counsellor” which means that I use several approaches to counselling.
Psychosynthesis Counselling which has 3 models, psychodynamic, humanistic and transpersonal. I also use Basic CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) if needed.
incorporates a wholistic approach and acknowledges every individuals unique experience.
it includes body, mind and feelings, seeing these three components as naturally interactive and affecting each other.
Psychosynthesis also includes not only aspects of personality but of our soul growth as well, asking questions such as "What gives a sense of meaning and purpose to your life?" " What are the possibilities and potential in our lives?"
These are important aspects to hold as well as our difficulties.
Some of the things we can experience on our journey in life are:
....Feeling something is missing?
....Not knowing how to or not allowing yourself to work through a loss.
....Feeling afraid, anxious, depressed and stuck?
....Feeling angry with those closest in our lives.
....Not having dealt with past issues.
and much more..........
As my main counselling model is Psychosynthesis, I prefer to be a counsellor that explores all areas of your life, which can include childhood patterns, as well as what may be happening now.
I have some secondary training in - CBT, which I prefer to use along with my main model of counselling, Psychosynthesis if called for. CBT examines our behaviour and our thoughts and can be very effective with Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorders etc.
I am also open to seeing clients for long term or short term counselling, but always checking with clients every month or so to see how they are feeling about the counselling process.
The founder of Psychosynthesis, Roberto Assagioli, coined the name to distinguish it from the psychoanalysis of Sigmund Freud and the analytical psychology of his main teacher, Carl Jung. Assagioli was interested in a holistic view of the psyche, that not only analysed the component parts of a person, but was also interested in the unique and mysterious whole formed by these parts interacting with each other. He passionately believed that our spiritual nature was an essential ingredient in our make-up and he built a whole approach to therapy designed to allow this soulful quality to emerge and guide the healing work. Psychosynthesis centres around the world disseminate and develop his ideas, among them the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London () where I originally trained, and the PsykosyntesInstitutet in Gothenberg, Sweden () where I now teach. Near the end of his life Assagioli declared: ‘Psychosynthesis is not a doctrine or a ‘school’ of psychology … There is no orthodoxy in Psychosynthesis, and no one, beginning with myself, should be considered as its exclusive representative or leader. Each of its exponents tries to express and apply it as well as he or she is able…’
